These are detectors used for separation-fractionation devices or HPLC systems as in-line monitors. The absorption of the sample can be measured at the wavelength selected by interference filters.
Small absorption changes up to 0.0001 ABS can be measured.

Spectroradiometers
SOMA’s Spectroradiometer Line Up
Spectrometers are instruments to measure spectral irradiance (microW/cm2/nm) by absolute scale compared to standard lamps.
SOMA OPTICS has been focused on developing and delivering versatile many types of spectroradiometers to measure spectral irradiance of light sources including both types of grating scanning type and linear array multichannel type.

High Speed Spectroradiometer S-9001 & S-9011
This is a high speed multichannel spectroradiometer with wide wavelength range of 300 to 2000nm (S9001) and 300 to 1500nm (S-9011).
Many kinds of illuminations, outdoor solar light, solar simulators can be measured and evaluated. Pulsed light sources also can be measured by 1msec interval.
Measured spectra of solar simulators for solar cel evaluation are evaluated according to IEC 60904 standard as a solar cell testing light sources.

Portable Multichannel Spectroradiometer S2440
This is a portable and small spectroradiometer of reasonable price, using linear array and optical fiber to measure spectral irradiance from 300 to 1100nm with low level stray light and low noise.
Many kinds of illuminations, outdoor solar light, solar simulators can be measured and evaluated. Pulsed light sources also can be measured by 1msec interval.

High Performance Spectroradiometer S-9030
This is a top-class high-performance spectroradiometer which is used when high accurate measurements are required. It incorporates five different wavelength range grating scanning spectrometers to enable simultaneous scanning to acquire spectra from 250 to 2500 nm within one minute. This system is being in operation for primary solar cell calibrations in Japanese public institution.
Multichannel Spectrometers

Multichannel Spectrometer S-2431 S2630 S2730 S2830
These are multichannel spectrometers with linear array detectors using Fastie-Ebert optical mount to eliminate stray light. All the light intensity of each wavelength can be measured at the same time at once which enables many kind of light measurement applications. Optical systems are highly efficient by adopting small F-number without degrading spectral resolution. High speed data transfer is realized by using USB interface.
These multichannel spectrometers are useful for many applications.
Spectral Response Measuring Instruments

Spectral Response Measuring Instrument MJ6
Spectral Response of solar cells and optical detectors can be measured from 300 to 2000nm using monochromators of three gratings.
All the functions necessary for spectral response measurement are embedded in this system, i.e. white light bias, color bias light up to 6 wavelengths by LED, lock-in-amplifier and electrical bias as well as monochromatic light source.
Using simple and efficient optics, monochromatic light is intense, stable and has high spatial uniformity.

Desk-top Spectral Response Measuring Instrument
S-9241
This is a compact and inexpensive spectral response measuring system which enables the measurement of the characteristics of many types of solar cells i.e. silicon crystal, dye-sensitized solar cells (DSC), and perovskite solar cells (PSC) for 300 nm to 1100nm.
White light bias embedded in this system which is an option irradiates sample solar cells coaxially with the monochromatic light.
Near Infrared Spectrometers

Meat Quality Testing NIR spectrometer S-7740
Fatty acid composition for oleic acid, mono-unsaturated fatty acid, and saturated fatty acid can be measured by this NIR spectrometer inside the carcass storage refrigerator. Chemical components (moisture, protein, and fat) of meat also can be measured.
This instrument is composed of light source, linear array spectrometer, and electronics. All the results are shown on the LCD display on this instrument.
The meat quality is evaluated by this scientific method to give accurate information of the carcass.

Tuna Fat Testing NIR Spectrometer S-7070
Fat content of tuna can be measured by this instrument.
The instrument is designed as a waterproof structure of IPX6 which makes the on-site measurement on the ship available. The shape of the instrument also is appropriate to measure cross section of the tuna tail.
Results are displayed on the electronic paper which has good visibility even under the sunshine.
Portable Fluorescent Microscopes

Portable Fluorescence Microscope S-3380
With the compact design and the power source of three AA batteries, you can use this microscope anywhere you want. This instrument is developed to observe arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in the soil at the site.
The wavelength of excitation and fluorescence, and the objective lens which decide the magnification can be changed according to your applications.
The standard wavelength is 470 nm for excitation, and 480 to 550nm for fluorescence. EX. 560 nm with FL. 588-670nm, and EX. 390 nm with FL. 416-490 nm is also available as an option.
The magnification of the objective lens is X10 for the standard and X40 for the option.
The fluorescent image can be acquired using a mobile phone putting on the top base of the instrument.
